Bartending License in Canada – Provincial Certification
Get a FREE phone assessment with a Bartending Course Canada instructor. Call us 7-days-a-week: +1 (833) 555-0142. You can start school next week. Looking for a bartending license in Canada? We run bartending classes in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Halifax.

Two certificates matter. Your bartending school certificate proves drink recipes, bar setup, and server skills. Your provincial liquor license — Smart Serve, ProServe, Serving It Right, or the program in your province — is the government exam bars check before they hire you to serve alcohol.

Bartending School Training Before Your License Exam
Since 2010, Bartending Course Canada has been training bartenders across Canada. Our students sit at the bar and watch our qualified instructors prepare and explain each drink in front of them. Our students then spend the rest of their class making cocktails behind an actual bar under the close supervision of our instructors. Bartending 101, Bartending 201, and Bartending 301 courses include workbook, tools, and certification guidance for your provincial serve program.

Our mobile bartending school sends instructors to your home. Full certification is available through our mobile bartending school. On-premise and off-premise alcohol regulations vary by province — we cover both in every lesson.
After completing our bartending course you receive school certification plus guidance for your provincial liquor license exam. Online theory is available in Ontario, BC, and Alberta from $199 CAD. In-class practical training starts from $449 CAD. Full program with bartending certificate and license exam prep from $549 CAD. Need Smart Serve in Ontario or ProServe in Alberta? Serving It Right in BC? Prep is built into every course. Most in-class sessions run 1–2 weeks. No bar experience required — we train beginners and help you get certified. Bars hire graduates who hold both bartending school training and provincial serve credentials.
